VOA, long known as Volunteers of America, has officially rebranded to VOA to better reflect our mission of serving more than 2 million a year, powered by a team of 15,000 paid professionals. The nonprofit is keeping its recognizable name while updating its identity, preserving 130 years of history and its mission to help people live healthy, safe and productive lives.

VOA is celebrating its first-ever Operation Backpack® Week in 2026, spotlighting backpack distribution events across the country.
