People with Disabilities

Volunteers of America North Louisiana was among the first in Louisiana to open group homes for people with disabilities. Today, those we serve include people with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and those with a chronic mental illness.

Volunteers of America North Louisiana is committed to promoting the well-being of all veterans and their families, whether they are newly transitioning from military to civilian life or have long been returned but are struggling with issues, such as homelessness, unemployment, or substance abuse.
