Volunteers of America North Louisiana is dedicated to reach and uplift every person in need. Operating as a church without walls, our team of dedicated and professional staff provide quality supportive services across 30 programs helping the most vulnerable in our communities, including children and families, veterans, senior adults, and those living with disabilities.

Affordable Housing

As one of the area’s largest nonprofit providers of quality, affordable housing, Volunteers of America North Louisiana also provides the vital support services needed to thrive.

Children, Teens, and Families

At Volunteers of America North Louisiana, our team of dedicated and passionate staff work with school administration, faculty, and community partners to create safe environments, quality programs, and caring relationships with children, teens, and families.

People with Disabilities

Volunteers of America North Louisiana was among the first in Louisiana to open group homes for people with disabilities. Today, those we serve include people with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, and those with a chronic mental illness.

Veterans

Volunteers of America North Louisiana is committed to promoting the well-being of all veterans and their families, whether they are newly transitioning from military to civilian life or have long been returned but are struggling with issues, such as homelessness, unemployment, or substance abuse.
