A Few Helpful Answers
What is a donor-advised fund?
A DAF is an account for charitable giving, managed by a sponsoring organization. You contribute to the account, then recommend grants to nonprofits you want to support. Your provider reviews and approves those recommendations.

Can I give regularly through my DAF?
Many providers let you schedule recurring grant recommendations. Check your account settings or ask your provider about its options.
Is my grant tax-deductible?
Any eligible deduction generally applies when you contribute to your DAF. A grant from your DAF to VOA does not create an additional deduction. Your provider or tax advisor can answer questions about your situation.
How long does it take?
Timing depends on your provider and how it sends the funds. Your provider can check the status of your grant recommendation.
