How You Can Make a Difference

Volunteers perform a wide range of work for Volunteers of America’s 30 local offices, including:

• Delivering Meals on Wheels or providing other direct client services
• Acting as committee and advisory committee members or serving on local boards of directors
• Providing administrative support such as answering phones, performing clerical work, researching, facility maintenance, food, clothing collection, and more.
• Recruiting and managing other volunteers
• Providing professional services (legal, public relations, training, motivational speaking)
