The Futures Fund helps to build joint-venture pilots with external entrepreneurs and affiliates to test new market solutions that address service gaps, improve operational efficiency, and better support staff and clients. These partnerships help affiliates overcome capacity constraints while advancing innovation across the network.
The Futures Fund deploys funds through several ways:
- Feasibility Grants: Capacity-building support for costs associated with ideation, feasibility studies, testing, and piloting of new business development opportunities.
- Piloting Grants: Direct support for joint ventures between Affiliates and companies to enhance services for clients.
- Catalytic Investments: Strategic pre-seed capital into ventures that have demonstrated pilot success with VOA Affiliates.
