Volunteers of America Greater Ohio

Volunteers of America of Greater Ohio helps more than 34,000 people each year in the metro areas of Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Mansfield, Sandusky and Toledo. Established locally in 1896, our ministry of service continues to support and empower America’s most vulnerable groups. Our services include long and short-term shelter for homeless men, women, veterans and families, educational programming for youth, affordable and supportive housing for seniors, individuals and those with disabilities or mental illness, addiction and mental health treatment for veterans, reentry services for those recently released from prison and job readiness, training and retention programs for homeless and at-risk veterans as well as various large scale community projects like collecting backpacks for homeless kids and feeding 2,500+ every Thanksgiving. Please consider supporting us by donating to or shopping at our thrift stores, donating a vehicle to our weekly auto auctions, volunteering, or giving financially to support our programs.
