Support VOA
Homelessness has hit record highs across the United States. Your gift can provide shelter to homeless Veterans, Seniors and other Americans in need.
Thank you for your support!
Who We Are
Volunteers of America is one of the nation’s largest, established comprehensive human services organizations, dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. We have programs in 47 states and serve more than 2 million Americans annually.

At VOA, we stretch every dollar to help end homelessness through services like emergency shelter, employment training, and transitional and permanent housing for veterans, seniors and Americans fighting addiction. Behind every warm bed is someone like you who decided to step up and help. When you give, you’re not just donating money. You’re putting a roof over someone’s head. You’re bringing relief, comfort and dignity to a fellow human being.
“The work you do to help others is inspiring. You make a difference in lives that might otherwise go unnoticed.”
– VOA DONOR
Together, We Help Fight Homelessness
VOA is confronting the homelessness crisis head-on. But our efforts go beyond just housing. We also deliver essential services to millions, such as meal delivery for seniors, pop-up food pantries for families facing food insecurity, and school supplies for children through our Operation Backpack® program. We’re committed to making a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
Your gift directly helps the people we serve through VOA’s national programs, as well as the dozens of affiliates who support those in need locally. Through Housing programs and other essential services, we give American children, adults, veterans and seniors the support to rebuild their lives and reach their full potential.

Our Work in Action

Darla
“If VOA hadn’t been there, I’d be living under a bridge.”
Darla and her two sons were left with nowhere to go after losing her partner to illness. Living alone in a motel room, hungry and scared, Darla turned to VOA for shelter. Thanks to VOA’s support, Darla found stable employment and is able to provide for her family.

Steve
Steve struggled with alcoholism following his service in the U.S. Air Force. Facing homelessness, Steve received help through VOA’s housing programs and got the support he needed to be sober.
There are lots of other ways to support Americans facing Homelessness.
