National Recovery Month

Recovery isn't linear. We're committed to evidence-based solutions that work for families.

Operation Backpack®

Back to school should not be a burden. Help families in your community.

40,000 volunteers made a difference last year with VOA.

2 million lives changed in 450 communities.

From hunger and homelessness, to relief and a welcoming place. Change a life with monthly support.

A home to our heroes.

At Volunteers of America, we know home is more than a place. It’s a feeling.

As one of the nation’s oldest and largest developers of affordable housing, we have provided safe shelter for nearly 20,000 seniors, veterans, and families in need this year.

Our Innovative Dwellings initiative is one way that we are uplifting veterans in need. By repurposing old materials and buildings, we are developing exciting, sustainable solutions to house more veterans than ever before.

Watch how Innovative Dwellings is providing hope for our nation’s heroes.
