Hope Manor Provides Permanent Supportive Housing for 80 Previously Homeless Veterans

Hope Manor, our permanent supportive housing project providing homes and services for 80 previously homeless veterans in Chicago, is unique in many ways. It was designed to make maximum use of green technologies. Two of the innovations incorporated into the project include domestic hot water heated by roof top solar panels and a “porous” concrete parking lot that allows rainwater to flow through the parking lot surface thereby minimizing storm water runoff from the site.

But more importantly, Hope Manor serves the unique needs of today's veterans by providing them with a broader and more flexible continuum of resources in one location.
