Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout

The Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout is underway! The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) tournament at Las Colinas Country Club in Irving, Texas, kicked off on Thursday, April 30, and runs through Sunday, May 3. On Sunday, one of the LPGA’s best players will accept the Kathy Whitworth Trophy (named for golf’s all time victories leader who will be in attendance for the trophy presentation) on the 18th green of the Los Colinas Country Club.

“Volunteers of America is excited to be the title sponsor for this year’s event,” said Volunteers of America National President Mike King. “We strive to introduce as many people as possible to our organization and the work we do, and this event provides a great opportunity to connect with the LPGA’s large and engaged audience.”

Volunteers of America's sponsorship of the LPGA North Texas Shootout helps bring awareness of America's most vulnerable to the millions of viewers who watch the tournament. Working with charity-minded organizations like the LPGA helps further the work Volunteers of America does, touching the lives of more than 2 million people each year.
