Volunteers of America Presents Veritas in Concert

As an organization, Volunteers of America brings together the work of the church and the work of a social service organization. For more than a century, Volunteers of America has provided essential services and opportunities to people of all faiths by meeting their immediate needs and transforming lives through our belief in, and reliance on, grace.

And this is why we are proud to present Veritas in concert. Veritas blends classical and contemporary music to create an inspirational musical experience and includes classic works like “The Lord’s Prayer,” “You’ll Never Walk Alone” and the original lyric “Love of My Life.”

The vocal quintet of Jeff Anderson, James Berrian, Andrew Goodwin, Jordan Johnson and Lucas Scott Lawrence is currently touring in support of its self-titled debut CD.

“The set list shows the diversity of what we do, and allows us to showcase the uniqueness of a sound that lets every member’s vocal talent shine,” says Lawrence of the group’s CD. “The common thread that goes through each song conveys our message and purpose and, for those who have not seen us perform, reflects what a Veritas concert sounds like.”

“Volunteers of America is proud to sponsor Veritas’ 2015 tour,” said Volunteers of America President and CEO Mike King. “Their music and message are a perfect fit with our ministry of service.”

Veritas’ nationwide tour includes performances at the Volunteers of America national conference in Los Angeles in June and at Carnegie Hall in New York City in November.
