The Home Depot Foundation Helps Restore a Veterans Resource Center

Over 100 Home Depot associates recently donated their time to paint the 48 bedrooms of the Cleveland Veterans Resource Center.

The day ended with a commemorative board signing as each associate signed the board and it was presented to the Center as a thank you to the vets for their service.

The project was part of the Home Depot Foundation's Celebration of Service initiative to provide supplies and volunteers for projects benefiting veterans from September 11 through Veterans Day. Nationally, the Foundation has pledged $30 million over three years to projects addressing veteran housing needs. Volunteers of America is proud to be partnering with the Foundation in this effort.
