Home Depot Foundation Helps Transform Veterans' Housing and Service Center in FL

The Home Depot Foundation & their vendor partners worked with our Florida office to transform housing for veterans as well as a veterans' Service Center. The large-scale service project, which benefited two of Florida's veterans programs, included extensive landscape and beautification as well as interior flooring renovations and exterior building enhancement.

The Homestead at Anoka, a senior living campus which is part of our redefined vision of senior services, opened in the spring of 2013 and features 127 skilled nursing beds including transitional care, secured memory care and a rehab clinic as well as 27 independent living units with heated underground parking and 32 assisted living units.

Volunteers of America and The Home Depot Foundation - Serving Those Who Served Our Country

With the generous support of The Home Depot Foundation, Volunteers of America is working throughout the United States to build new housing for homeless veterans.
