Founded in 1896, Volunteers of America is a nonprofit health and human services organization that assists less fortunate individuals and families by providing them with the tools to improve their quality of life. The purpose of our programs is to strengthen the social, spiritual, psychological and physical well-being of those we serve. Our programs focus on four primary service areas: Children & Family Services, Elderly & Disabled Services, Public Safety & Rehabilitation Services
Treatment, and Recovery Services. The service territory for Volunteers of America of Southwest California encompasses San Diego, Imperial, Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
