About Us

Volunteers of America Home Health is nestled on the beautiful Western Slope of Colorado.  We are a non-profit, faith based Home Health agency that offers skilled nursing services, bathing assistance, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.  We also have Licensed Clinical Social Workers to assist with long-term planning and community resource coordination.  Our staff is trained in pain management, wound care, IV infusion therapy, diabetes management and teaching, fingerstick INRs, ostomy care, and pediatric care.  We also are certified in the use of the Wound V.A.C.  One of the newest additions to our services is our Telehealth home monitoring units, which monitor blood pressure, oxygen saturation, weight, blood sugar and temperature and is more convenient for our clients.

We perform background checks and drug testing on all of our staff.  We also have bilingual staff.  We accept a wide variety of insurance to accommodate our clients. Volunteers of America Home Health of Western Colorado serves the communities and surrounding areas of Montrose, Grand Junction, Delta, Cedaredge, Paonia, Hotchkiss, Eckert, Clifton, Palisade, Fruita, Ridgeway, Ouray, and Olathe.

Our organization is very dedicated to our neighbors and we are known for giving back to the communities by providing services to the uninsured/underinsured members of those communities.  Volunteers of America is over 111 years old and we help more than 2 million people every year.  No need is too small for Volunteers of America.  We’ve been around and we’ll be around.
