There just aren’t enough words in the English language to tell you how much I have appreciated the wonderful, compassionate and loving care Joyce received during her six years at Elder Homestead. In each of my visits with her it was easy to see the results of that kind of care. There was no doubt that she was a very happy and responsive person. Her big smiles were my inspiration for the day.
At Elder Homestead there was always an atmosphere of friendliness and genuine caring. Both Joyce and I were very fortunate to have found Elder Homestead as her home and family for the last six years of her life.

Just wanted to drop you a line to tell you how pleased I am that we were able to place James at Elder Homestead. The journey has been a long one but I think that we have finally found a home that is the best fit yet for James’s needs. The family and I moved his stuff in on the 8th of January and were greeted with friendly faces and helpful staff. That has been my experience on every visit before and since.
My daughter commented that this is the first place he has ever lived that she has felt comfortable in coming to visit her dad. The grandchildren were greeted by staff and residents as well.
James was impressed with the welcoming gift of the flowering plant that awaited his arrival on move in day. He was really surprised as was I. Thank you so much for the welcome. The staff in Memory Care has been very encouraging, helpful, and understanding as they work to get to know James and his needs. I also appreciate the time the nurses have taken to ask appropriate questions and provide needed information to make this a smooth transition for James. Your help has also been above and beyond the call of duty.
I look forward to a long relationship with you and your staff. You have made this transition much less complicated and less stressful than our other experiences. Thank you so much.
