Resident Outing Volunteer
Location: Autumnwood Care Center
Date/Time Commitment: On scheduled outing days. As needed
Volunteer will assist activity staff on facility outings by pushing wheel chairs, offering assistance where needed and monitoring resident at all times.
Bingo Volunteer
Location: Autumnwood Care Center
Date/Time Commitment: Monday and Saturday 1:30-3:00 p.m.
Assist activity staff with Bingo set up. Distribute supplies. Assist residents as needed. Assist with clean up and transport residents to and from the activity.
Church Service Volunteer
Location: Autumnwood Care Center
Date/Time Commitment: Sundays 2:00-3:00
Church service volunteer will commit to a regular schedule on the monthly calendar and provide a ministry for any residents who desire to attend the non denominational service.
Bird Feeder Volunteer
Location: Autumnwood Care Center
Date/Time Commitment: 1-2 times weekly as needed. 1-2 hours per visit
Filling the over 50 bird feeders located all around the property both in the central courtyard and the outside circumference of the building.
Computer Assistance Volunteer
Location: Autumnwood Care Center
Date/Time Commitment: 1-2 times per week or as requested by resident
The volunteer with basic computer knowledge will assist in sending e-mails between resident and family or friends and may also help resident with use of the internet and world wide web. Volunteer may also teach residents to use the computer if requested
Library Services Volunteer
Location: Autumnwood Care Center
Date/Time Commitment: Volunteer to assist in keeping the library in order 1 time monthly
Library volunteer will visit the facility at least 1 time each month to organize the library books, record any damages, assist residents in finding books they would like and notifying appropriate agency when special books are requested.
Gardening/Plant Care Volunteer
Location: Autumnwood Care Center
Date/Time Commitment: Various times
Volunteer will be involved in the outdoor courtyards helping to maintain the plants as well as checking the indoor plants occasionally to see if they have any needs.
Volunteer Musician
Location: Autumnwood Care Center
Date/Time Commitment: Various times
Musical entertainment, either vocal or instrumental as well as choreography are welcome to make arrangements to provide entertainment during regular visiting hours.
