Supportive Services


Without supportive services, housing is often not enough to end homelessness.  From helping homeless youth to providing assistance in obtaining disability benefits — from just providing transportation to providing intensive job training assistance to homeless veterans, Volunteers of America operates a number of innovative supportive services programs.

Featured Program: Homesless Veterans Reintegration Program

Veterans become homeless for many reasons. But almost all veterans, while serving our country, learn significant job skills. Often, homeless veterans just need a place to stay, job counseling, and assistance with transportation to and from work, or with purchasing tools or uniforms.
