National Network of Services
Programs & Services that Help More than 2.5 Million People a Year Reach their Full Potential
“Go wherever we are needed and do whatever comes to hand.”
This was the pledge made by Ballington and Maud Booth when they founded Volunteers of America in 1896. Now, 117 years later, these words still define us as we continue our legacy of responding to the needs of at-risk youth, the elderly, men and women returning from prison, homeless individuals, veterans, people with disabilities and those recovering from addiction. Together, we are a family strengthened by the commitment of thousands of employees, volunteers and partners working toward real change.
